To be upfront, I never planned on working with teenagers or families. In fact, I emphatically declined the Family Therapy certification during graduate school.
My perspective changed after working with Heisman Trophy-winning Coach Ty Detmer. He inspired my leadership background in mentorship and connecting with parents seeking help.
